The current in the data sheet is the max current drawn during eFuse programming.

The recommendation is to size the power source to source > 400mA. The recommendation is to use an LDO for sourcing the VPP supply.

The VPP supply is recommended to be applied only when programming the eFuse.

An LDO with EN input and capability to support large current transient is recommended.
