configuring two MCBSP's for two different SPI devices on DM6437

Hi,

I am on the verge of deciding my design with DM6437.

I am planning to configure one MCBSP0 for SPI flash(for booting), and the other MCBSP1 as SPI interface with FPGA. From the DM6437 data sheet, I found that MCBSP0(not MCBSP1) is only used for the SPI boot mode.

Till now, I don't find any restriction to configure the MCBSP1 as SPI device to interface with the FPGA.

however to confirm.... is it possible to configure both MCBSP's to be used as SPI interfaces.?? or any restriction for the same?

Yes, you should be able to also use MCBSP1 as a SPI interface, probably not for booting though but ok for general interface.
