Hi,

Are there plans for integrating RSTP in the Ethernet Switch driver for AM335x?

Currently only 802.1D (spanning tree protocol) is supported in the kernel. 802.1W (rapid tree spanning protocol) looks to be a project in the kernel tree and not fully integrated with the kernel release with the AM335x. I'm still working to find out if there is a plan to integrate support. I hope to have an answer tomorrow.

I am still eager to know on TI plans to integrate Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol in the Linux PSP for AM335x.
