Is there any professional course conducted for TI C66x Muticore Architecture, which includes software and hardware design?
Hi Wenjun,
The closest you can get is the C6000 Embedded Design Workshop Using SYS/BIOS. This workshop's primary focus is on SYS/BIOS 6.3x running on a single-core DSP (C6748). However, the concepts discussed can be easily "ported" to ARM+DSP and multi-core devices (C66x) running SYS/BIOS or DSP/BIOS (BIOS ver.. 5.4x+).

In the Training section of TI.com, there is a training video set for the C66x SOC architecture. It may be helpful for you to review all of the modules. You can find the complete video set here.

The Keystone training video is helpful but having a training course specific to the Keystone c66x multicore architecture would be great. Any chance of TI conducting such a course in the near future? I had a look through the course outline suggested in this thread but it appears not adequate for my needs.
Thanks, Aamir
Aamir,
There is more than one Keystone training video on the page referenced in my earlier post. Your statement implies you found only one. The collection of videos comprises a training course specific to the Keystone C66x multi-core architecture and this is what has been used for some customers requesting training.
As 1&0 said, the closest to a formal training class would be the one he mentioned.
What do you find lacking between the videos and the class he mentioned? What are your needs?

Randy,
Yes, I am aware there are multiple videos on several topics. I was considering them all as one big training video. I have been using the Keystone user guides in conjunction with the training video to better understand the architecture. I am finding some more detail would be useful as I have lots of questions and the e2e forum, though very nice, is a slower process to have detailed discussions on the real nitty gritty with TI experts.
Thanks, Aamir
Aamir,
You have all the available information and you are using it well. I expect you will soon be answering many questions on the forum.
The E2E forum is the right place to get answers to questions you have with the documentation. Be sure to also search the TI Wiki Pages for additional information on some topics.
