OSD0 layer image has a noisy line in my proj.

Dear Everyone.

First, My System Specs.

- DSP/BIOS 5.41, PSP Driver 1.10.00 and EVMDM6437 Board.

And I use 3 drivers that are "VIDEO 0 Window, OSD0, Resizer" provided by PSP Driver. My Project just has a purpose for previewing 1 resized video and 1 osd image. This project takes video streams which has 1280x800 input resolution through a daughter board and a video sensor. So, I have to change this image resolution to 720x480 resolution for VPBE output by using a resizer driver.

and then, it will have overlay image on the OSD0 Layer which is ti dsp logo. At this time, but, OSD0 Image has a noisy line..like bottom image.

I think that My project has a correct step for making dirver objects, allocating buffers and FVID_queueing. Nevertheless...I have a too hard problem to solve it by myself. Now...I'm very very sad and melancholy..

Would it be possible for you to provide some helps for me? If you want, I can give you more information or all my project source. Sorry, my english skill is very short.

Dear Zizek,

It looks like there is some conflict in the "PSP_VPBEOsdConfigParams" configuration.

I guess, you are using the image of size 320 * 146. In this case, the pitch value should be 320 * (16 bits/ 8), width will be 320 and then height should be 146.

can you please verify this?

Dear Sandeep K.

I'm sorry to say that I've just used 146*146 image for previewing. As you can see my project, I used "extern unsigned char TIDSP146x146RGB565[23360];" to overlay TI DSP LOGO Image onto my VID0 Stream. This image file(images.lib) is provide by TI through this document(http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spraap3a/spraap3a.pdf).

To be sure, once I edited my code as you said to me..But It did not correctly work. My Project just showed me two copied noisy TI DSP LOGO images on VID0.

Ok... Can you try with pitch as 288 instead of 320 in the OSD params?

I'm sorry to say that it has not properly worked like when pitch is 320 in the OSD..

Is it a bug? or Am I misunderstanding about proper implementation?

It appears that we have exhausted the potential suggestions from the BIOS group. I have gone ahead and moved this thread over to the DM64xx video forum in hopes that you can get a more comprehensive answer there.
