AM625: Not able to boot some AM625 from u-SD card

Part Number: AM625
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software:

Hello, we have designed custom board with AM625 SoC and our design was tested to boot from u-sd card and all was working well in prototype phase and we moved the design in production and the second batch of the boards seems to have multiple issues.

We have recently got 40 boards made and only 2 boards boots Linux from the u-SD card and we can see this on the console port.

Most of the board doesn't boot, this is based on the current taken and then no Linux boot messages printed on the console.

would you be able to help us on how to debug this issue?

Would it be possible to board from UART or USB just to test the hardware?

We have tested all power rail on the board & all seems good.

We could add JTAG if you think would help to debug.

There are no known difference between the 2 working boards and the rest.

Any advise on how to progress would be appreciated.

Thanks
