The GPU clock (PLL6) can be controlled through the k3conf tool. For example the GPU clock is device ID 237 and clock ID 3 therefore if you were to set the frequency 400MHz use the following command: 

• k3conf set clock 237 3 400000000

Apologies for the delay. Yes, you can modify the GPU frequency with the assigned-clock-rates property in the k3-j784s4-main.dtsi. If looking to reduce the frequency you can try to enter any value but it is not known right now what frequencies are allowed to work or cause an error. You can certainly try to change the value from 800MHz to 720MHz or 750MHZ or anything else and it will either work or error out. 

You should see the following lines in the GPU node of the k3-j784s4-main.dtsi, just change the 800MHz freq value:

assigned-clocks = <&k3_clks 181 1>;
assigned-clock-rates = <800000000>;

Once the modifications are made run make dtbs and copy the .dtb file to the sd-card path /media/user/root/boot/dtb/ti
