Hello everyone,

we are evaluating a new imager for a current project; the vendor supplied us with a driver for the Raspberry Pi platform + a libcamera-IPA. We now want to port this setup onto our AM62A hardware and are wondering if there is a plan to support libcamera in the future?

As far as we understand right now, currently the TIOVXISP software package supplies the ISP functionalities that would need to be adapted as a libcamera-IPA - is this correct?

There is no libcamera interface for ISP right now. now using custom gstreamer based tivoxisp element which talks to R5 firmware driving ISP.

Hi Dilna,

thank you for your reply - I am sorry for not making myself more clear, but I was interested if there are plans to support a libcamera interface at some point in the future? For our current project we likely have to allocate more time/effort into understanding the TIOVXISP internals to see if/what we have to modify to support our new imager.
