Hello Team,

MCAL Package: MCAL_SitaraMPU_11.01.00.03

Compiler: ARM-CLANG-3.2.2_LTS

Below Code Compilation error is reported while integrating PWM driver from mentioned MCAL package:

we are update types our side in Pwm_Ehrpwm.c file.

Pwm_Ehrpwm.c.origin_version this file from vendor.

Pwm_Ehrpwm.c.EB_update updated file from EB.

after this change type conflict is not happening.

Could you please provide your feedback on this?

Hi Mubin,

I am assuming you are using AM62Ax based on the logs even though the thread title says AM62x.

I am not sure why this change was made but if the Pwm_Ehrpwm.c file was updated, the corresponding function declaration from the lld_epwm.h file would also have to be updated so that you do not see the error.

Also, the 11.2 MCAL version has not been released yet. You must be talking about the 11.01.00.03 version I guess.

Hi Nihar,

We are working on MCAL 11.01.00.03 that was a typo error. In Pwm_Ehrpwm.c file declaration of that function with sint32 and lld_epwm.h same function declare in this as int32_t declared which is causing the issue and conflicting to each other while compile so updated in source file one of them, this issue got resolved.

This issue only came because you had updated the Pwm_Ehrpwm.c file. Since this is a custom change, we will not be taking this into our release. You would maintain it at your end.
