AM335x : LCD driving 24 bit rgb pin connections

Hi everybody ,

please is it correct to consider AM335x LCD_data0…..LCD_data23 pins to be connected to color R0..R7, G0..G7, B0..B7 on the TFT considering a 24 bit solution ?

so LCD_data0...7 as RED 0-7 , and so on .

am I right ?

No, the LCD_DATA bits are not mapped as you have shown

See section 3.1.1 of the Device Errata for specific details - http://www.ti.com/product/am3359

Here's an extract that details how to connect an LCD when running the LCD controller in 24-bit mode.
