There is an errata for SGMII (i2362) here. Can you please check this and see if this can also be applicable for your phy?

It doesn't seem applicable；it is OK on the link between MAC and PHY；PHY can also be linked externally；

However, ping operations still result in 50% severe packet loss；

According to packet capture, there is data loss on the TDA4 transmission channel；

Is it possible that the MAC layer of the PC network card has discarded packets with preamble changes in Ethernet frames；

Yes possible.

If MAC has any options to ignore preamble, please enable it.

Also, you can perform the same test between TDA4 devices and check was there any packet loss.

Also, run ping from PC to TDA4 and check whether all PC transmitted are reaching to TDA4 or not..
