AM62P-Q1: POK Configuration for AM62Px

Part Number: AM62P-Q1

Hi Team,

We are reviewing the SDL POK configuration for the following power rails due to an issue reported with new BMW sample.

VDDA_MCU
VDD_CORE
VDDR_CORE
VDDSHV_MAIN_1P8
VDDSHV_MAIN_3P3
VMON_CAP_MCU
VDDS_DDRIO

As per TRM, I could see Module type is as follows:

VDDR_CORE POK_CORE
VDDA_MCU POR
VDD_CORE POK_CORE
VDDSHV_MAIN_1P8 POK_1P8
VDDSHV_MAIN_3P3 POK_3P3
VMON_CAP_MCU ?
VDDS_DDRIO ?
  1. What is the module type of VMON_CAP_MCU and VDDS_DDRIO?
  2. I could see the configuration thresholds settings for POK_CORE, POK_1P8 and POK_3V3. What about for POR (VDDA_MCU) ?

  • Hi Rakesh,

You might be using an older version of TRM. Please find the latest version below:

    www.ti.com/.../spruj83b.pdf

What is the module type of VMON_CAP_MCU and VDDS_DDRIO?

As defined in Table 6-13, VMON_CAP_MCU is POK_1P8 type and VDDS_DDRIO is POK_CORE type

    1. I could see the configuration thresholds settings for POK_CORE, POK_1P8 and POK_3V3. What about for POR (VDDA_MCU) ?

Are you talking about IPOK_VDDA_PMIC_IN_UV instace? POK_VDDA_PMIC_IN is a fixed comparator; you cannot adjust the thresholds in software.
