I want to use the 4-lane pcie1 connected to serdes0.

After connecting the configuration, I set the .dts file to 4 lanes, but no devices are detected.

    Thanks for the logs. Looks like serdes and PCIe controller are getting configured without errors. 

    Assuming this is not on the TI EVM, but could you check two things:

    1. Whether there is an external clock generator that is connected to SERDES0_REFCLK_P/N.
    2. There should be a PERST (PCIE Reset) signal, but which GPIO pin on the TDA4VH is this signal routed to? This GPIO pin should match the "reset-gpios" property of the pcie nodes in dts devicetree file.

    Could you try stopping in U-Boot and running this command before continuing the boot: setenv optargs "pcie_aspm=off"

    From TDA4VH perspective, it is acting as though no devices are connected and the slot is empty. If clock and reset look fine, then perhaps the NVMe device is not getting powered on while the probe is happening.

    I do not think the picture posted. But could you repost the picture?

    In any case, the picture posted for PCIE0 does not look right. PERST signal should be constant, and it should be deasserted after refclk starts toggling. 

    But assuming both PCIE0 and PCIE1 are showing the same scope readings, and one is working while the other is not, there are some differences between PCIE0 and PCIE1 in dts: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm64/boot/dts/ti/k3-j784s4-main.dtsi?h=ti-linux-6.6.y#n1109

    Otherwise, thanks for sharing the second screenshot. The PERST signal oscillating and refclk starting to oscillate after PERST is a bit unexpected. For context, my expectation is something like below from PCIe specifications. Although, I think in our case the refclk signal should start at power up of board since it is provided from a external clock source.

    However, I come mainly from a software background, so let me route this question to our hardware team to get their comment.

    See if 100ms delay improves the power up sequencing. The PERST signal should deassert after the refclk starts clocking.
