Hello all,
I am new on this forum and I would like to know what resolution does a DaVinci processor support. Let's say I would like to build a 4k camera, would that be possible? any guideline on how to do that?
Thank you a lot in advance

Thank you for your early answer Kirill,
I have read a bit about the VITA matrix but it seems like it's designed for machine vision, what I have in mind is to build my own video camera, and I dont know if these matrixes do well for this particular application, I mean with the image quality.
Could you give me any hint on which direction should my steps be given in order to achieve what I want?
Thank you very much in advance
We are get goot image on VITA5000, but if you work only with rolling shutter you can select another matrix, e.g. Aptina MT9P031.
Sorry, but I don't know matrix with resolution more than 5 Mpx.
Hello Kirill,
some manufacturer are ready to propose 12 or 16 megapixels sensor. My goal is to achieve 4K resolution ( more or less 4000X2000@30fps H264 HP) but what kind of processor you suggest me? C6000 Multicore or DM8148 in stack configuration (parallel encoding)?
Tks
