I am currently using the TI Processor SDK for AM3358 in a defense project, where the use of GPL-licensed code is strictly restricted due to project compliance requirements.
We would like to inquire about the scope of TI’s technical support for minimizing or replacing GPL dependencies within the Processor SDK. Specifically, I would like to confirm whether non-GPL alternatives—such as TI proprietary components, RTOS-based SDKs, or BSP packages that exclude GPL code—are available or supported for the AM3358 platform.
Our primary goal is to ensure that the software stack remains compliant with our licensing policies while maintaining full hardware functionality provided by TI’s reference SDK.
