We want to make R5F as openVx host and want to exclude A72 as host and to trigger model inference from R5F itself by completely excluding A72 from this flow. So for that we found the below patches from this following forum post (https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1256312/faq-tda4vm-openvx…) for J721E 8.6 SDK.
We were working on J784S4 9.2 SDK for a custom board. While we tried to apply the complete patches, we have faced lot of build issues so we have applied required patches alone for the below source files alone,
In linux sdk,
We enabled the following flag
TIOVX_HOST_R5F = yes in tiovx build_flags.mak file and did make tiovx inside sdk_builder directory and copied the out/lib files of R5F core to the vision apps out directory of R5F core and replaced vx_app_rtos_linux_mcu2_0.out file in the custom board mcu2_0 core, and did the below steps,
cd /opt/vision_apps
source ./vision_apps_init.sh
./run_app_c7x.sh
Already we copied the below two images inside
I was not able to see any difference while enabling the flag from no to yes. Is that I need to add the complete patch? But if I want to test just this simple application where I can make R5F core as host and completely excluding linux and triggering the inference from R5F itself means what and all I need to do? Could you please give some suggesstions and steps to take on this?
I am attaching the logs file in the start of the query(c7x_kernel_apptnc.txt) with the debug print statements I have added for understanding.
