Hi,

I had done the basic gpio led blinking project provided in the MCU+SDK of AM65x.So if i want to configure another onboard led for toggling,how will i do that?What are the steps required for that?

Hi Sumi,

Which Led you want to toggle? Refer to the EVM schematics to check what all test LED are available which can be toggled using GPIO.

Hi Tushar,

After going through the EVM schematics, I found certain GPIOs connected to the PRG2 and IDK_ICSSG0_Ethernet LEDs on the Customer Processor Board and the IDK Application Board. So, can I use these LEDs? If yes, how should I configure them ?Is it using the SysConfig tool or others?

I can see there are two leds which you can toggle using GPIO pins. Please refer below image.

The WKUP_GPIO0_1 is already configured in the gpio_led_blink example.

So, can I only toggle these LEDs? Can I configure only the LEDs in the wakeup domain? I found certain LEDs in the schematic such as.

So can i configure the given LEDs??

As you can see in the above image, the LED are used with muxed signal PRGX_PRUY_GPO_Z pins and not with GPIO. So toggling GPIO will not affect the LED functionality.

The only LEDs that can be toggled using GPIO is already mentioned in my earlier replies.

But when I configured PRGO_PRUO_GPO17 pin,LD1 blinks.Similarly the other leds in the PRGX_PRUY_GPO_Z pins also blinks while configuring through the sysconfig tool.Like this

So you told me that only 2 gpio pins will blink(in the wakeup domain).But here the LEDs in the main domain corresponding to PRGX_PRUY_GPO_Z pins also toggled.

Whether the R5 core can toggle the LEDs in the wakeup domain as well as main domain?
