Plexus purchased these parts from Ti directly under PO: 12051325. The raw part's internal structure shows crack-like symptom. Are these actual cracks or delamination?

Hello,
Can you please share the date of purchase: Sept 2025
Are these observation made when the devices were removed from a sealed package? Yes & the raw parts were assigned for 2DX inspection.
Hello Deveepria Kumaresan
Thank you for the inputs.
Let me check internally.
Did you face any assembly issues, or you detected the issue before mounting.
Are you seeing the issue with all devices in a tray or reel or are these seen random?

Sreenivasa
Hello there,
Did you face any assembly issues, or you detected the issue before mounting. >>> Detected before mounting. Would like to understand more on the symptom observed
Are you seeing the issue with all devices in a tray or reel or are these seen random?>> The devices are packaged in a tray. We screened about 79 pieces and found that approximately 40 pieces exhibited the symptom. We have about 1,200 more pieces in inventory.
Thanks.
Hello Deveepria Kumaresan
Thank you for the inputs.
Have you assembled this part (any previous supply) and observed any performance issue.
Is the screening a routine test that was also performed on the previously supplied lots and the issue was not observed.
Did you check on a specific tray or multiple trays.
Did you by chance assemble any of the device that you observed to be having issues and test?
Regards,
Sreenivasa
Hello there,
Have you assembled this part (any previous supply) and observed any performance issue.>>Initially, our end customer purchased these parts from Ti with DC202349 and observed a similar symptom. Upon assembly, these parts were found to fail at cold temperature.
Is the screening a routine test that was also performed on the previously supplied lots and the issue was not observed.>> No, we only started [the inspection/this process] for the current inventory after receiving a customer complaint. That’s when we took some random units from our inventory and performed 2DX.
Did you check on a specific tray or multiple trays.>>The plan is to screen all the trays from Ti. Screening is currently ongoing and we would like to understand more from Ti about this.
Did you by chance assemble any of the device that you observed to be having issues and test?>>Our end customer detected a failure at cold temperature.
Thanks.
Hello Deveepria Kumaresan
Thank you for the inputs.
Can you please confirm the end customer has device working in cold temperature that does not show the issue.
Did customer perform some tests by swapping the devices on a working board?

Sreenivasa
Hello,
Can you please confirm the end customer has device working in cold temperature that does not show the issue.>>We currently have feedback indicating that 31 units were found to fail at cold temperatures. No info on the passing unit yet.
Did customer perform some tests by swapping the devices on a working board? >> No ABA swap was done.
Thanks.
