I incorporated the latest H.264 codecs on my DM3689 design and the quality is poor. The decoder is getting a build of lines, corruption, and strange artifacts both on the DM368 and VLC.
Looking into I find that interlaced encoding is no longer supported for H264. However, my application is encoding interlaced. Why would they take out an essential feature? And not mention it in the release notes as well.
