Hi,

We are currently using and external clock fror driving one of our on board ASICs. We would like to replace this clock source with the TDA4VL SoC. Can you confirm if there is a clock output on the TDA4VL which is capable of providing 2MHz +/- 0.05% ? From the datasheet I see some outputs named however they are at higher frequency or "should not be used as a clock source for external devices on a board." Maybe I am missing some other options?

Can you tolerate a duty cylce slightly different from 50%? (I'm trying to figure out what tolerances I have to play with.)

On this device, the AUX_CLK to the MCASP comes from either MAIN_PLL4_HSDIV0_CLKOUT or MAIN_PLL2_HSDIV2_CLKOUT. Within the McASP, if you are not using it, you have a 12-bit divider that could get many frequencies to 2 MHz. The signal would be on either AUDIO_EXT_REFCLK0_CLKOUT or AUDIO_EXT_REFCLK1_CLKOUT

There might be other possibilities.
