USB disk performs slower than SD memory

Hi all,

I am using following configurations.

Platform: WinCE OMAP 3730

DVSDK version: dvsdk_wince_01_11_00_02

BSP version:  01.02.00

We have our directshow filters developed for a media player application. I am running MPEG2 clip with bitrate 9 Mbps from SD memory and the clip works fine woth this setup. But if I try to play the same clip from USB disk, I hear breaks in audio. As per my knowledge, USB must provide better performance than SD memory and hance work faster.

Can you please provide any hints about this issue?
