Can DM8168 provide YUV444 to YUV422 conversion

i am working on DM8168 video capture, i want to connect DM8168 to SII9233 and Sii9134 by YUV444. and i want to know, if DM8168 have internal converter of YUV444 to YUV422, and YUV422 to YUV444 also.

Hi,

DM8168 cant do YUV444 to YUV422 or YUV422 to YUV444 conversion. It does not support YUV444 data format. You can fake RGB888 as YUV444 but not conversion is possible. It can do YUV422 to YUV420 downsampling.
