AM3356: linux PRP support in kernel version 4.14.67

Part Number: AM3356

Hello Sir,

I am currently working on integrating Linux PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) support into my system running Linux kernel version 4.14.67. At the moment, I am using a prpd user-space daemon to achieve PRP functionality. However, I would like to shift to the native Linux PRP support available in newer kernel versions.

I would like to know if there is an official patch or implementation available for PRP that can be backported to kernel version 4.14.67. If such a patch exists, I am also interested in understanding whether it can be reliably backported to ensure stable and robust PRP communication on this kernel version.

Any guidance, documentation references, or insights you can provide on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
