AM3517 boot problem with SPI flash

I have a new design and I want to boot from SPI NOR Flash. I do not see much info on NOR Flash on the E2E forum with the AM3517. I am hoping someone can communicate specific NOR Flash parts that have been successfully used for booting.

Looking at SST25VF064C for the Serial Flash to use. If SPI Flash is supported please check on this device support for the AM3517.

The AM3517 does support booting from a SPI flash. Chapter 24 of the Technical Reference Manual (SPRUGR0) talks about the boot ROM support for booting from various memory devices.

In particular, Section 24.4.7.8 discusses the particular characteristics of the SPI flash that is supported by the boot ROM of the AM3517.

The MCSPI1 peripheral is supported for SPI boot.
