TDA4VH-Q1: [CEER] sf probe is not working after programming eFUSE

Hi Team,

TI PDK: 10.1
Bootloader: SPL

we were using is25lx256 NOR flash, we added included patch at uboot for ISSI NOR flash which we use.

We see that when we use HS-FS board sf probe reposnse is "OK".

But when we program eFUSE, and when we try sf probe we get error like below:

any idea on this?

Sriram,

How did you program the efuse? Did you use keywriter to convert from HS FS to HS SE?

Can you share the boot logs?

What is your dip switch settings?

Hi Keerthy, Yes I have programmed OTP using keywriter.

Debug reponse: 0x0

Device is NOR bootmode, I have flashed keywriter software in 0x0 offset in NOR & did a POR.

Please share the complete U-Boot logs as a text file attachment before you key in 'sf probe' command.

Sriram,

There is a switch on EVM to use NAND Vs Nor.

Can you check if your custom board has similar setting and if that is pointing to NOR?

Also was this working as is on HS-FS?

Sriram,

Can you just boot to U-Boot prompt & do not execute:

env default -f -a; setenv dfu_alt_info ${dfu_alt_info_ospi}; dfu 0 sf 0:0

Just try:

sf probe

Does that fail?

Is it possible to change the sample to HSFS on the failing board and see if HSFS works and only HSSE fails?

Hi Sriram, Nagabhushan.

Conversion o device from HS-FS to HS-SE will not affect ospi by any means. Can we do a similar experiment in another sample/device ?
