Applying the same value (from 1 to 5) to tivxVpacVissDccMapYeeParams and tivxVpacVissDefaultMapEeParams doesn't change anything. 

I'm not getting the edge settings from DCC, but applying them directly to defaults.c as constant values. This has been working fine since PSDK version 07.

I am not aware of any s/w changes regarding EE.

Do you mean that changing other EE parameters works, but not yeeShift?

No. The entire EE parameters are not working.

The function is functioning normally, but the parameter values aren't being applied.

I suppose you have the issue on EVM H/W (rather than in PC emulation mode).

What is your "ee_mode" value for VISS kernel?

I set ee_mode as 0.

The goal is to set ee_mode to 2, but if i set it to 2, only a black screen will be displayed. (Capture is possible)

Did EE work correctly for you with ee_mode=2 before SDK 11.1?

If I want to VISS output as NV12 and want EE parameters to be applied to VISS output, how should I set ee_mode and mux_output?

There should be no change of tiovx viss kernel for EE in 11.1.
I expect the same VISS settings you used in SDK 10 should work for 11.

ee_mode should be 2 for 8-bit NV12.

I believe this is what I use for mux_output.

Going back to my settings, I need to figure out how to debug the situation where VISS capture works but VISS output doesn't when I set ee_mode = 2.

Can you suggest some debugging points?

Could you please check if all your EE parameters are passed correctly from viss kernel to PDK driver?

Ko cannot get EE to work at all in SDK 11.1 (but EE works well for him on SDK 10 or earlier).

I have confirmed that the EE parameters set in vx_vpac_viss_defaults.c are normally passed to vx_vpac_viss_target_dcc.c.

Can't we assume that this has passed through the PDK driver normally?

If you tell me where I can output print on the PDK driver, I will check it out.

I have tested EE on both 10.1 and 11.1 releases on my J722S EVM.
For the same test case when ee_mode=2, it works well on 10.1, but VISS gets stuck in 11.1.
There seems some issue in PDK driver in 11.1 for getting the correct VISS blanking.

I am copying Raaghav Arya for looking into the PDK issue.
