AM625: Benchmarking for Thermal performance

Hi,

My assigned focus customer is evalutating the AM625 in an application where they need to exercise their product with 3d Rotation and certain interfaces on. They are evalutating in their enclosure to see what type of heatsinking they need. They want to be able to load the core(s) at verious levels and the 3D engine as well.

Do we have:

1) Best practices to do this type of loading / benchmarking - particularly what programs we would recommend for both core loading and 3d Rotation?

2) Any type of guide?

Hi Blake,

We don't have a thermal benchmark. Instead, we have resources to assist customers with their thermal analysis (see example resources listed below). They can download the processor thermal model from the product page on ti.com and import it into their preferred thermal simulation environment.

Hi Blake,

You can use the glmark2 examples like 'glmark2-es2-wayland' including the jellyfish example 'glmark2-es2-wayland -b jellyfish --run-forever > /dev/null &'.
