AM625: Bootmodes and backups

Part Number: AM625

Greetings,

I have been working on a design with the TIAM625 processor series.  My hope was to make the SD card a primary boot device, and the eMMC a seconday (backup) boot device.  My intent was that the processor will boot from eMMC. But If I want to do an update to the image, I put in an SD card, and boot.

I do not want to use jumpers to select the bootmode because I have very limited space.

I was going through my design and reading spruiv7b, and saw this table:

So, I don't believe I can achieve what I want. Is there a way I could do this?

Even if I had physical space for jumpers, the unit will not be accessible to change them.
