DM368 Ver2.6 Korean language OSD

Hi,

I am working with DM368 IPNC, soft's version 2.6. I am trying to implement Korean language OSD but I failed.

- GODB interface didn't allow to input korean character for text box.
- I don't know how to send the korean data to IPNC, It might be converted automatically.

I have already read GODB help document but It didnt help. Please give me some hints.

We support only English as standard release, for any changes for other language please check with GoDB as they may be able to help you.

what if I just need to use Software OSD to show some fixed korean text from code, is it possible or not. And can you show me a bit instruction or material to do that?

Hi Bioz,

Currently for non-English fonts, it is not possible to create the font data base(SWOSD_createFontDatabase()) and convert the text into yuv window data(SWOSD_MakeOsdwinstring).

If you can convert Korean text into yuv data then you can use SW OSD APIs to imprint it on video frame.

thanks for your quick response. I think I should try to input the YUV pattern for OSD instead of text pattern.
