Hi everyone. I am using the 6713 DSK with TLV320AIC23b codec. I see that the specs indicate the AIC23b to have a total group delay of 38 samples (ADC+DAC) at 48000 sampling and a total group delay of 8 samples (ADC+DAC) at 96000 sampling. Is this group delay (in terms of samples) correct for the 96000 sampling rate? This seems quite low for a sigma-delta based architecture. Specifically, the specs indicate a THREE sample delay for the ADC at 96000!
Does TI have any codecs for audio (stereo) ADC+DAC solutions with a lower group delay than the AIC23b (48000 sampling or 96000 sampling) that can be interfaced with a DSP, e.g., 6713? I see the ADS8422 mono-SAR ADC for example (1 sample delay).
Thanks!
