90deg bends in plane shapes

Hi All,

As a general practice we are avoiding 90deg bend is trace routing, but not always in plane shapes.

Most of the layout engineers not caring about this in power/gnd planes.

But I think all the adverse effect of 90 deg trace routing( capacitance increase, impedance change etc..) will be same for 90deg in shape also.

Also I heard this right angle bend may cause corrosion in PCB - is it so.
