AM623: UART Boot

Part Number: AM623
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM625-Q1, AM620-Q1,

We are interested in using UART boot for loading initial code images on an AM6231 based system.  i2410 in the errata states that UART boot may fail and recommends against using UART boot, and there do not appear to be any silicon revisions of the AM6231 that correct this problem.  In spite of this warning, there is a lot of discussion about using UART boot on these parts.  Is UART boot reliable enough to use in development and as part of a production process but not quite fail-safe, or it something that needs to be avoided with these parts?  Thanks!
