During the functional inspection of the actual vehicle, we found that the system suddenly couldn't be accessed normally during operation. Then we discovered a kernel panic. Can you help us investigate what the problem is? This matter is very urgent.

There seems to be an issue in the encoder, but it's not crashing the entire system. Is the system crashing?

According to the feedback from our colleagues responsible for actual vehicle testing, when an exception occurs, they are unable to access the system normally through serial port or Ethernet.

Hello,

The logs indicate that frames aren't getting queued for the encoder. Could you provide more details about your data flow and how the CODEC is being used?

Please refer to the screenshot below for the data flow diagram. In fact, you can obtain more details from the (+) TDA4VEN-Q1: V4l2h265enc issue - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums because these two issues are different problems of the same project.

This could occur from several different reasons. Is this issue also replicable on our EVM?

Hi Sarabesh,

Do you know that on one hand, we don't have enough EVM board hardware on hand, and on the other hand, the pressure measurement on the EVM board cannot be smoothly adapted in a short period of time. Have we found a quick way to analyze this problem? If we need to reproduce this issue on the EVM board, I don't think it may be possible to do so in the short term. However, the deadline for our project is getting closer and closer.
