66AK2G12: Example code operating the Audio codec in EVMK2GXS

Part Number: 66AK2G12
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EVMK2GXS

Hi,

We would like to check a new concept of audio product in our  company.

We use the  66ak2g12 evaluation board number EVMK2GXS.

This board has a codec inside it and we struggle to implement the code which is setting the board with the right pinmux and register setting to operate the audio in/out of the codec +McAsp2 settings.

We use bare metal and not linux operating system.

Can you please help us by providing the example file that operate the Mcasp digital audio bus + the codec initialization that fits to this evaluation board EVMK2GXS?

Thanks,

 Avner

  • Hello Avner,

We can no longer provide software or hardware design support on K2G. If you are creating a new design, you may want to look at a more recent part, like AM62D or AM275. Both of these parts are intended for audio development.

Since these parts are so new, we are releasing the automotive version of the parts first (-Q1). I believe that we are planning to release the "general purpose" part numbers next year. I can send your thread to another team member to discuss more if either of these parts seem like they could be a good fit for your design:
