Hi Nimesh,
8168 SoC has HDVICP2 which is Video HWA Engine supporting multiple video standards.
Hence it is possible to encode and decode mp4 files in 8168 H/w.
Now I am not sure about what you are refering as omtb. Or else standard DVSDK software comes bundled with codecs of MPEG4 E/D along with other software.

I'd assume that OMTB means OpenMax Test Bench? And if he asks in that context for a component like mpeg4venc maybe he asks for a OpenMAX codec component regarding mpeg4? Sorry, but it seems easier for me to understand the question than your answer.
However, besides the question of OpenMAX support for a mpeg4 codec provided by TI now or later - it remains interesting if the HDVPIC2 supports other compression standards than H.264 - the only question is: which effort is needed to write such a component? And are the already written (by TI) components available in source to get an impression about that?
Concerning the meaning of omtb maybe simply look into TI's DM816x Software Developers Guide, search for omtb. Besides, such problems understanding abbreviated terms are the reason why I started a wiki page about TI acronyms. OMTB is added now.

Joern.
If the context is of OMX component , MPEG4 Encoder and Decoder should be available in EZSDK 5.03.00.09 release with OMX 05.02.00.26.
OMX Components are already available from TI.

hi
thanks for the reply,I know omx supports both encoding decoding but my question is openmax test bench
scripting tool(omtb) because In omtb documentation I can't find it.
EZSDK 5.03.00.09 release with OMTB version 01.00.01.07 does not support mpeg4 encoder/decoder.
