READWRITE: Entered Assertion failed

Did you install the DSPLink device driver using the following commands?

mknod /dev/dsplink c 230 0
insmod dsplinkk.ko

Please look at the DSPLink InstallGuide_Linux_OMAPL138.pdf file section 1.5.2.2 Loading the kernel module. This document should be in the dsplink/doc folder.

         Yes I installed DSPLink device driver using those command, I can able to run all other DSPLink application (message, loop,ringio,mplist). 

I am not able to run readwrite application.

I'll have to investigate this further. Would you please attach the demo.sh script you used to run the readwrite sample. I don't have access to that script.

     demo.sh is simple script to insmod dsplinkk and set ip. The demo.sh script content is given below

It looks like your original suspicion about the dsp address being incorrect was on the mark. We were able to run the readwrite sample on our board using the following command line.

readwritegpp readwrite.out 0xC3F5B00 1024 1000 0

Look in the Install Guide OMAPL138  Section 1.5.2.3.5 for a brief description.

Keep in mind that this address is specific to the board and memory map. The above address should work with the default build scripts, but if you change the memory map, you will need to modify the dsp address accordingly.

     I am using default dsplink come with dvsdk (dvsdk_omapl138-evm_4_02_00_06_setuplinux) . I am not changed anything.

when i give command

 readwritegpp readwrite.out 0xC3F5B00 1024 1000 0

i am getting following error
