Part Number: AM62A7
Hi.
I'm building an audio dsp related product. Based on our requirements, we find the AM62D to be a suitable options in terms of processing resources and peripherals. To speed up hardware development, we would like to start our design with an System On Module part from some of TI partners, however the AM62D doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the form of a module (probably because it is so new). As far as I can tell, the AM62A7 seems to be identical silicon and does have SOM options available, however I've seen mention in the forums that the DSP core is locked down on the AM62A7, limiting it to the TIDL firmware. Is there a way to run audio processing algorithms on the AM62A7 or is there another route that anyone can suggest other than doing a full custom hardware design with the AM62D?
