unable to get access to 8 bit NAND

hi

I am unable to get access to my 8bit nand through GPMC, I checked Ti document for this ,,and as it is written I modified  my board specific nand.c and also changed the macro NAND_BUSWIDTH_16 to 0 in nand.h

changing this much made Uboot working but on giving "nand dump 0" oob file is not correct

so I checked the config register value and found that it is not enabled for (address data multiplexing) ,,, where as my nand support that feature

so I enabled that bit in config register ,,,after that it showed      "NO Nand Device found !!!"

I am unable to find the error ,, where else I should make the change so that my NAND of 8 bit start working.....
