We are working with an AM625-Q1 SoC and would like to output a video signal through the LVDS interface using the OLDI pins (OLDI0_A0P/OLDI0_A0N, OLDI0_A1P/OLDI0_A1N, OLDI0_A2P/OLDI0_A2N, OLDI0_A3P/OLDI0_A3N, and OLDI0_CLK0P/OLDI0_CLK0N).
Our goal is to use a recent mainline version of the Linux kernel. At the moment, we are using Linux kernel LTS version 6.12.
Our question is whether there is support in Linux kernel 6.12 for the OLDI submodule on the AM62/AM625 SoC. If such support is not available in 6.12, we would like to know if there is a planned kernel version where OLDI support for AM62 is expected to be added.
We have noticed that Linux kernel version 6.18 already contains changes that are very likely related to enabling OLDI functionality, and we would appreciate any clarification regarding the upstream status and timeline.
