TDA4VM: Rpmsg Communication Between R5f and A72

Hello Ti,

I have Two cases :

Use Case 1:

R5f is acting as Server and A72 acting as Client

Use Case 2:

A72 acting as a server and r5f Acting as Client

How the second use case will be possible with TDA4VM? Is there any Limitation to support use case 2?

Note :

We have Use case where Classic Autosar sits on R5f and Adaptive Autosar sits A72, we want to bidirectional Communication between the two Cores. How it Can be achieved?

Hello Anand,

May be you are confused here. The limitation i mentioned was when A72 running HLOS Linux if you are running Adaptive AUTOSAR we don't have any restrictions but TI doesn't provide any Adaptive AUTOSAR drivers that runs on A72.

CDD IPC is compatible to communicate with RTOS/Linux/QnX but not validated for Adaptive AUTOSAR on TDA4 devices.

"There is no support for announcing endpoints on Linux today"
is it because of Linux Kernel driver or ti-rpmsg-char user space Library API support ?
