Hi.
I would like to make sure De-interlace function in AM3517 TRM;
10.3.2.1.4.4 Line Output Control, page-1143.
http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/ug/sprugr0b/sprugr0b.pdf
The interlacing is that just takes the odd and even fields
but it is not consider that combines them into a single frame with
some processing that will smooth out the offsets between the two fields
(which is most pronounced when there is lot of motion).
Is my understanding correct?
If so, when I would like to remove some saw tooth (combing) noises from images,
do I need the other device to de-interlace with functions to interpolate the missing lines
from the original field?
Regards,
Kanae
