TDA4VEN-Q1: GMSL driver for TDA4VEN

Hi TI team

I plan to use Sony IMX390 with Max9295A with Max96724 via the GMSL protocol to transmit data to TDA4VEN ,but it hasn't been successful yet.I noticed that TI provides driver for IMX390. It this driver based on FPDlink ? If using GMSL , is an addtional separate driver required? Are there any available drivers for this setup?

Hi,

IMX390 driver also uses FPD Link, but it is using UB960 as deserializer, we dont support GMSL SERDES in the driver. You would require to update the current driver to support GMSL SERDES.

Thank you for your reply. After considering your suggestions, we have decided to adopt the ISX031 + FPD-LINK solution. Could you please provide us with the drivers for the dsub960 and 954?

Hi Li Long,

Are you using Linux for CSIRX or RTOS driver? We do have RTOS driver for UB960, which is mounted on Fusion board. But we dont have driver in RTOS for UB954.
