DM812X IP Camera Kit No Video

We received the DM812x reference camera. It is supposed to work out of the box. We set  the ip address through serial cable on the camera and we can see the camera setting pages from web client on another machine. However, we couldn’t see any live video from the web client (IE 9). Could you please help us to get this reference camera running? Thank you.

    Hi,

    Can you please check this VLC and see if you can see the video?

    Details are given in userguide on how to view it in VLC.

    Also, can you please try this command after login as root on console "flash_eraseall /dev/mtd5"

    This will erase ay old setting which could be errorneous.

    Also, please use the latest version 1.8.0 for the testing.

    I am attaching the latest GUI patch in this mail, please extract this in ipnc_app\webdata\gui folder.

    This has two files IPNCWebDlls.CAB and gIPNC-ro.gz

    I have installed the VLC and follow the instructions. However, vlc cannot open the specified video source network. Currently, we are using SDK 1.4.0, which comes with the package of ipnc 8127 camera. Could you please send me the ftp account for updating sdk to 1.8.0?

    You should change IP address in web interface,
    changing it in console will not work.

    I saw my IP address is correct in the web interface. I don't understand why and how I can change to other ip address in the web interface. There are many errors generated with the default firmware (1.4.0). Here is the console output:

    Hi,

    It looks like from your log, there is some issue with DSP MSQ open which is causing it to fail.

    Can you please onctact APpro and get the details about latest 1.8.0 release, please use this for your further development so that it is easier for us to support.

    Can you also check you bootargs and other ENV setting, please share it for our review
