Hello,
we use the AM6442 as PCIe Root Complex. The PCIe Endpoint is on the same PCBA. We use the SI52112B5 from Skyworks as PCIe REFCLK generator. We are not sure how to terminate the PCIe REFCLK signals.
Is an AC coupling required, recommended or forbidden? Which value should be the capacitors? Shall the position at the signal source or signal sink?
Is a series termination required, recommended or forbidden? Which value should be the resistors?
Is a 50Ohm GND termination required, recommended or forbidden? At the signal source or signal sink?
Do you have design example or a design guide?
Or do you have more details about the PCIe REFCLK input design of the AM6442?
