Leopardboard DM368 + MT9P031 - auto exposure?

Hi,

I am testing Leopardboard DM368 + MT9P031 sensor using DVSDK 4. I really like the speed of the encoding.

I would like to ask how does one set the auto exposure of the sensor? The image is washed out and there is no auto exposure control in v4l2. There is really a lack of information regarding this, I have searched for days with no results. Can someone point me somewhere I can go with this?
