Hi Expert,

 

The client is selecting a new SoC platform with the following requirements:

  1. OS Support: Linux SDK.

  2. Camera Input: MIPI CSI-2 (supporting 4 channels of 2MP cameras).

  3. Memory: DDR4 support.

  4. Connectivity: Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

  5. Display Output: 2MP @ 30fps via 4-lane MIPI DSI.

  6. Image Processing: Capability for Image Stitching (e.g., Around View Monitor/AVM).

  7. Safety Rating: ASIL B compliance.

  8. Functional Safety: Dedicated Functional Safety features.

Questions:

  • Is the AM625 suitable for this?
