AM335x pricing

I'm reading a flyer for the AM335x family and it says "Starting sub $5 in volume". Which models/clocks of the family are likely to be in this price range? What's TI's definition of "in volume"? Hopefully not quantity 10M. I don't need a quote, we're just looking for some guidance for a design we are considering. A $5 part would give it a lot more cost effective capabilities. No screen so OpenGL doesn't matter. We want the NEON FPU.

Hi Jon, thanks for your interest in the AM335x family. The $5 pricing is for 100,000 unit quantities of our AM3352 device. This device seems to fit what you are looking for as it has the NEON coprocessor and no 3D graphics support. More information on it can be found here: http://www.ti.com/am3352

We are targeting to release this device in the second quarter of this year. If you want to get started with evaluation and development right away then look at these development boards:
