Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick response. I have the first link. But PSP user guide in your first link does not give details about how to prepare or make file system jffs2 image (Flashing JFFS2 filesystem).
I don't have your second link. But it seems to suggest a different file system other than jffs2 as described in the first link. So could you clarify my confusions? Also the link in my first post gives detail instructio. Is that link working for my chip and board? Thanks.

JFFS2 is OK for AM37x as long as the NAND requires less than 8-bit ECC.

JFFS2 uses part of the spare area in conflict with the ECC data.

For out AM335x devices we are recommending UBIFS.  This article

explains in more detail:

Hi Mike,

The first link which show how to create JFFS2 image assumes I already have a ramdisk.gz from certain package. I do not have ramdisk.gz from my TI PSP toolchain or package. Could you suggest how to make the ramdisk.gz to create JFFS2 image. Thanks.
