AM67A: AM67: Request for FAQ about AM67A memory map

Part Number: AM67A

The AM62A FAQ here https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1616487/faq-am62a7-how-do-i-update-the-am62a-memory-map
is full of really useful information, some of which certainly applies to AM67A too.

Would it be possible for someone to write a similar FAQ for AM67A (or to expand the AM62A version to include anything specific to AM67A )?

Thanks very much.

  • Hi,

AM62A has both the "MCU + SDK" and Linux SDK, so the memory mapping is explained.

Whereas AM67A has only the Linux SDK. RTOS SDK is based on the TDA4AEN EVM. When you want to make any changes to RTOS applications, need to rely on the TDA4AEN SDK and make board-specific changes.

Regarding VisionApps, similar Python scripts for memory mapping are available in the TDA4AEN "MCU + SDK".

For SoC Memory mapping, please refer to the TRM and the TD (Technical Data Sheet) from the SoC page.

    Best Regards,
