qt 4.8/5.0 qpa eglfs segmentation fault

Has any one here been able to get the eglfs platform plugin to work in qt 4.8 or 5.0?

I tryed following the tutorial below, but did not have any luck.

The raw OGLES demos work so I don't believe it has to do with my system config.

The minimal plugin seems to work as it shoots out images.
